Rates and units

Monthly production values are rates, not monthly volumes. Oil and water use kbbl/d; gas uses MMcf/d. The application displays units from each dataset catalog.

Missing observations

Missing data stays null. Zero means a reported zero; AMA never fills a missing month with zero.

Ratios

Water cut is total water divided by total oil plus water. GOR is total gas divided by total oil with unit conversion; WOR is total water divided by total oil. Ratios use sums, not averages of individual ratios. Low-oil months are excluded and disclosed.

Identity and geometry

Source identities are matched to published field and well codes. Assets without matched geometry are excluded from maps, not from production totals.

Generations and corrections

Published generations are immutable. Corrections create a new generation. Shared application links pin a generation so numbers remain reproducible while it is retained.
