Reproducible analytical views

A saved analytical view should carry enough context for another person to understand what it means.

Pin the publication

Dataset identity and generation determine which source values the view uses. Carrying that pin in the link helps keep follow-up work on the same publication.

Preserve the useful filters

Metric, grouping, selected asset codes and period bounds belong together. When a publication no longer contains a bookmarked code, the application should explain the reduction before running a query.

Make the next step explicit

Opening a map, forecast or asset detail should retain the scope that led there. That gives a reviewer a traceable path through the analysis.
