Reading production in context

A monthly production value is only the start of an investigation. The next step is knowing which assets contribute, what changed in the selection and where coverage is incomplete.

Start with the grain

Every chart answers a question at a particular level: a well, a field or an aggregate. Keep that grain explicit as you compare periods. A field total and a well series can tell different stories without either being wrong.

Keep missing observations visible

A zero is a reported value. A missing observation is a limit in the evidence. When the interface preserves that distinction, totals and comparisons stay interpretable.

Carry the selection forward

Follow a change from a basin view into the assets underneath it. A shared, versioned selection makes that path easier to review with a teammate.
